Sorry it isn't next day delivery, but as a small company I hope you can understand that we aren't Amazon.

If you live inside the M25, you will receive your order via Hived's carbon neutral delivery service.

If your order hasn't shown up, please do email us at hello@wakencare.com and we will follow up with the shipper. Make sure you reference your order number (it starts with a "W").

If your order has arrvied and there are damages, please do email us on hello@wakencare.com referencing your order number (it starts with a "W"). If you can include pictures then that would be reall helpful as we can share that with our team to avoid this in the future. We will make sure you get a refund or a replacement.

Toothpaste

Yes, all our toothpastes contain fluoride at the NHS recommended levels. This toothpaste contains fluoride at 1,450 ppm F.

Our Daily Care toothpastes have been formulated to provide 12hr protection for your enamel. They will help protect against cavities and will reduce plaque and tartar.

Wet your toothbrush and shake off any excess water. Squeeze a small amout of toothpaste onto the bristles of your toothbrush. A pea-sized amount is usually enough for most adults. Brush the tops, sides and backs of all your teeth, making sure to reach every surface. This should take about 2 minutes. Remember to spit out the toothpaste when you have finished.

We did not formulate these products for those with specific sensitivity issues. There are specialist products available for those with particularly sensitive teeth. If in doubt, consult your dentist.

None of our toothpastes contain SLS, which is a harsh detergent. You might find that the toothpastes foam a little less than mainstream toothpastes, but don't worry, they are still doing a great job cleaning your teeth without the cheap foaming agent.

We love our toothpaste tubes, which are made from recycled aluminum. The good news is that they are not aluminium laminate tubes like many toothpastes, so are absolutely fine for general aluminium recycling (do remove the cap!). There is no need to open and clean out the tube. This works for any aluminium tube you use, even things like tomato puree. If in doubt, always best to check with your local council as many of them have online tools that help to figure this out, particularly which bin they should go in.

We don't recommend any of our toothpastes for children under 7 years old. Adult toothpastes and mouthwashes commonly contain more fluoride than products for younger children as there is a risk that they will swallow the product. Adult products also tend to have a stronger minty flavour that may be challenging for younger taste buds.

Mouthwash

The main function of a fluoride mouthwash is to help protect teeth. Fluoride is a naturally occurring mineral that is found in many foods and drinking water. It is also added to many dental products, such as toothpaste and mouthwash, to help strengthen tooth enamel and help prevent tooth decay. In addition to its anti-cavity effects, a fluoride mouthwash can also have other benefits. It can help to freshen the breath, remove food debris and plaque from the mouth  Used in combination with regular brushing and flossing, it can be an effective way to help protect your teeth and gums, and keep your mouth healthy and fresh.

Overall, the best time to use mouthwash will depend on your personal preferences and oral hygiene routine. As long as you use it in combination with regular brushing and flossing, mouthwash wil  be a valuable addition to your oral care routine.

NHS guidance states:  "Using a mouthwash that contains fluoride can help prevent tooth decay, but don't use mouthwash (even a fluoride one) straight after brushing your teeth or it'll wash away the concentrated fluoride in the toothpaste left on your teeth."

Absolutely not. In order to have good oral hygiene you should be thoroughly brushing your teeth twice daily. You should also have regular check ups with a dentist and professional cleaning by a hygienist or dentist. Mouthwash when used in combination with brushing and flossing, can be an effective way to maintain good oral hygiene.

Yes it does. This mouthwash contains fluoride at 250 ppm F.

Our mouthwash bottles and labels are made of post consumer recycled HDPE plastic. This is the same material that is used to make most plastic milk bottles. The lid is made of virgin polypropylene plastic, the same stuff used to make most yogurt pots. You can recycle these items in exactly the same way as you do those other items. It's always worth checking with your local authority if you have any questions on the right way to recycle.

We don't recommend any of our mouthwashes for children under 7 years old. Adult toothpastes and mouthwashes commonly contain more fluoride than products for younger children as there is a risk that they will swallow the product. Adult products also tend to have a stronger minty flavour that may be challenging for younger taste buds.
