When and How Should I Use Mouthwash?
A good fluoride mouthwash does far more than just freshen your breath — though it’s great at that too. It helps protect your enamel, supports gum health, and plays an important role in keeping your mouth feeling clean and healthy between brushes.
Used daily, it helps to fight cavities, strengthen tooth enamel and rinse away the bacteria that brushing and flossing sometimes miss. It’s a simple but powerful way to upgrade your oral care routine.
When Should You Use It?
Timing matters more than most people realise. After brushing, your teeth are coated with fluoride from your toothpaste — and that fluoride needs time to work its magic. If you rinse with mouthwash straight after brushing, you’re washing away all the good stuff.
Instead, wait at least 30 minutes, or use your mouthwash at another time entirely — after lunch, for example. It’s a small change, but it helps you get the best out of both your toothpaste and your mouthwash.

A few other things to keep in mind:
-
Don’t dilute it

Don’t drink from the bottle (no matter how good it tastes)
